Inspired specifically by details from the Saint-Sever Beatus (11th century), Trumpets of Wormwood captures the visual vibration of a world coming apart at the seams. This piece focuses on the atmospheric dread of the “Bitter Star,” where nature itself is corrupted by divine decree. The intricate linework mirrors the frantic scribing of a monk witnessing the impossible.
